The Upper Kittitas County Community Recreation Center Alliance (UKC CRCA) is working with the representatives from the City of Cle Elum, the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District, KPRD1, and many others to plan, design, and construct a community recreation center to serve Upper Kittitas County residents and visitors. The 12-acre site is adjacent to the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District and is owned by the City of Cle Elum expressly for the purpose of a community recreation center. UKC CRCA, KPRD1 and the City of Cle Elum are working together to define governance roles and responsibilities as the process moves forward. The rendering below outlines the four major components of the “Preferred Option” defined in the Feasibility Study led by UKC CRCA and a team of consultants. The project has now entered the schematic design phase, and a conceptual facility design will be presented soon for public comment.
